Thank you to everyone who helped to make our day even more amazing than we imagined it could be. We have never felt as much love and support as we did on November 24, with all of the people we love most in the world gathered around us.
We’re having a first look at photos (of the non-grainy, not-taken-with-a-phone variety, though we’re grateful for those, too) on December 16, so hopefully we’ll be able to post some here close to Christmas. Stay tuned.

We can’t believe it’s almost time for us to tie the knot, but today we got a marriage license and filled two Costco flat carts with booze, so it’s finally starting to feel real. There’s still lots to do, but thanks to great friends and family, moderately-priced wine, lines of credit and full-body massages, we’re gonna get through it and have a wonderful time this weekend. (Can you guess which one of us is writing this?)
We wanted to let you know we finally figured out a place to meet for drinks on Friday. This was a challenge since the rehearsal dinner and hotel are on The Plaza, but The Plaza will be crazytown because of the holiday lights. We found a place not too far from The Plaza (five minutes in the car with no traffic) but far enough away that we’ll have plenty of room and parking shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
So, for those coming into town early and/or anyone who would like to hang out with us the night before the wedding, we have reserved a private room at Thomas (1815 West 39th Street, half a block east of State Line Road) from 8:30 onward. We can’t guarantee the wedding party will arrive before 9:30 or so, but you’re welcome to head over at any time to eat, drink and mingle. Thomas serves food until 11 pm Friday.
This is open to all guests, friends and family. We hope to see you there.

After months of saying we’re going to do it (then changing our honeymoon destination from Europe to the Pacific Northwest) we’ve finally set up a honeymoon registry. Why? Because we’d like to start our marriage as somewhat financially responsible adults (read: with as little debt as possible). See our registry at HoneymoonWishes.com.
But we’re materialistic, too, and we’ve also registered for stuff. Visit our Registry page.

Well, for the most part. In the last week, we registered at Target and Pryde’s Old Westport in Kansas City, MO. We’re still deciding where we plan to go on our honeymoon, and what honeymoon registry we’ll use. (If you have any advice on that subject, please let us know!)
For two people who came into the relationship with a lot of kitchen stuff, and acquired even more after we moved in together, we still managed to find a few things we could use around the house.
You can learn more about our registries on our Registry page.
Thank you for being a part of our celebration!

Friends and family —
Thanks for visiting our wedding website — which is still very much a work in progress.
If you have any questions about the wedding or the weekend at this point, please see our FAQ. Also, if you know for sure you can’t make it (bummer!), we’d really appreciate you letting us know by emailing EmilyandKyleRSVP@gmail.com. We promise our feelings won’t be hurt; it will just help our planning efforts.
Thanks so much and we look forward to partying like rockstars with you.
Emily and Kyle
